This is a story board of the first 2 minuets of the BBC drama remember me, we watched the clip in class and had to create a each scene in a storyboard. The aim of the clip was to introduce viewers to the setting so it began with establishing shots of the local landscape, the third shot was of the sun being engulfed by clouds, this use of pathetic fallacy suggesting what may be to come. The next shot sequence feature a grey dilapidated farmhouse and its resident. The elderly male actor is shown sitting and gazing out of a window and then looking though some old photographs these shots are mid and close ups allowing the audience a greater intimacy with the character. The final shot moves location to a beach and features a ghostly figure rising from the waves and coming towards the village ... Story boards are used to plan out what the camera will film, where it will be and if it should move, they are a set of visual instructions that show exactly what will be in each scene.
